(up to 8 members, customization of club icons, club hangouts, club entry qualifications, club outfits, club activities and pretty much everything else you can think of.) Easy to get sims to stick together (before they would just wonder away but now everyone stays in groups! (even if they're not in a club). The Sims 4 Clubs Get Together - Tips, Making and Leading, and Club Perks Enjoying the Clubs Feature of Get Together, hanging at the Bluffs in Windenburg. The Club system in The Sims 4 Get Together is the center of attraction for this Expansion Pack, and it's extremely well-executed. I remember us hearing about them and thinking of night clubs.
The Sims 4: Get Together is the second expansion pack in the Sims 4 video game franchise. The EP adds in a new town, Windenburg, several new game play objects and clothing options, and the ability to form clubs with your Sims. The club system is one of the most in-depth features of the Sims 4 currently; you can create a club for just about anything in the game, give your club members rules to abide by, and gather all your club members with just a click of the button. The pack comes with some preset clubs, and most players have created clubs with their Sim's friends or family members, but a lot of players ran out of fun ideas for clubs. I've gathered some of my favourite ideas for Get Together clubs to add to your game play experience, recreate the feeling of “afterschool” activities for children or teens, or liven up community lots. Boy Scouts (or Girl Scouts) can be a great club for children or teen Sims. I made the club initially for my Sim children.
The club consists of both boys in the household, their dad, another adult in the town, and the rest of the members are male, child Sims. The club gathering area is any park in the game- so each time a club meeting begins, the group will meet at any random park in the game.I set up some rules for the club, like playing on playground equipment, finding frogs, being nice to one another, fishing and grilling (for the adults, so that the adults in the club can grill food for the scouts to enjoy). If you have the City Living expansion pack, you can also do fun things let set up a “yard sale” at any park, and sell the frogs and fish your club find for some extra cash. Thanks to this adorable, I was able to give my Boy Scouts a cute uniform. However, you can make a uniform of your own by going into the club options (your Sim must be the club's leader) and setting a uniform using the clothing already in the game.If you'd like to have a Girl Scouts club instead, you totally can. Use the same club ideas above, and make your own uniform from the game's clothing!
Another fun idea is to make a choir club! If you have the City Living expansion pack, you'll have access to the new Singing Skill. Why not gather some Sims together and create a “choir” for them to sing together in?You can even have a club requirement be that all Sims have a singing skill (or creative skill for kids) of 2+ or higher, before you allow them to join.Skill building clubs can really be used for any skills in the game; you can create a baking club, or a guitar club, a handiness club, or gardening club- whatever you'd like. But I thought a choir would be a cute and creative club for my Sims (plus I sang in choir when I was younger and wanted my Sims to do it too;)).If you're looking for the CC I used to decorate my choir club with, check out this!
One of the new things that Get Together introduced is the Dancing skill. I took the idea for a dancing club and changed it a bit: ballet class!Of course, Sims don't do real ballet movements, but you can still pretend and make something fun for little girl Sims to do! The only club activity is dancing, and I even (though you can make your own with the game's objects) inside of the gym at Windenburg.
I also used some cute ballet skirts and shoes from Marigold for their uniforms.Whenever the club gathers, the Sims show up in their uniforms and go to the ballet studio and dance! It's very cute and another way to level up skills and tell stories with your game. I won't go into too much detail about this one, because I've already done a whole tutorial on it, but you can also use the Get Together clubs to make a functioning school for your kids and teens (you could even make a “college” for young adults, if you want!).Build a school community lot, or download one from the Gallery and place it in your town. Make some clubs of 'students' with your child Sim and other children Sims in your town. Make some Club Activities related to children (like 'Use the Science Table' or 'Use the Activity Table'), and send/follow them to 'school'!You can read the, and get started on making your own school clubs! This one is to set up the world around you, less for your actual gameplay.Ever go to a community lot in The Sims 4 and see that it's completely empty?
Or filled with people doing weird and inappropriate things? The cool thing about clubs in Get Together is that they'll still gather autonomously, even when you're not playing the active household. You can use the club system to force Sims on the community lots, and to even modify their behaviour on said lots!As an example, I created a 'cinema' in my game, using the objects from the Hangout Movie Stuff pack. I got tired of no one being in the theater when my Sims showed up, so I went to one of my unplayed households, created a 'Cinemaphile' club, made their Club Activity to 'Watch Movies' and their hangout as the Cinema, and now whenever I go to the Cinema, there are already Sims there, watching movies! It works pretty well to make your worlds feel a bit more full and realistic. Give it a try! There's a few great mods you can use to make your Get Together clubs even better! The Sims 4 is a large game which traded some of the scale of earlier installments for new, more complex systems. Since its release in 2014 the developers, Maxis and The Sims Studio, have released numerous content packs further expanding the options available to the player. There are three levels of additional content for The Sims 4. The lowest level is Stuff Packs, which contain minor items and customization options. Then there are Game Packs, which bring new small locations, limited systems, and new items. Finally, there are Expansion Packs, which introduce new worlds, new substantial careers for the Sims to follow, and a broad selection of items for the house and sims. In this guide, we’re going to focus on the expansions to bring you up to speed with the biggest post-launch releases for The Sims 4.
Before we get into descriptions, we will briefly describe the base game for those who may not know a lot about it.About The SimsAs a whole, The Sims is a series of life simulation games about the daily existence of its characters (the eponymous Sims). The players can design their house, decorate it as they see fit, and create a family using the Create-a-Sim system. The Sims are mostly controlled by the game’s AI, but the player can tell them to perform specific actions, such as simple social interactions. There is also a wealth of additional systems, such as jobs the Sims can take on to earn Simoleons, as well as the individual Sims’ aspirations and traits, and many more.Despite its general complexity, however, the game is comedic in nature and accessible to younger players thanks to the Sims’ exaggerated reactions and the cartoonish aesthetic.
Now we can move on to describing the big expansion packs, each of which increased the scope and complexity of the base game in significant ways. The Sims 4 Expansion packsGet to WorkNew world/neighborhood: Magnolia PromenadeThis expansion’s main focus in on expanding the job opportunities of your Sims. It introduces three careers for them to try themselves at: Detective, Doctor, and Scientist, each with its own interactions. Furthermore, your Sim can work in retail stores of various kinds, ranging from bakeries to art galleries. The stores can be designed and customized, including wares you put on the shelves. The expansion also puts some emphasis on aliens: there’s a hidden lot which is dominated by the extra-terrestrials, for instance.
The players can create a playable alien Sim, coming complete with numerous customization options. Get TogetherNew world/neighborhood: WindenburgAs the title might suggest, Get Together is a The Sims 4 expansion which is all about parties and nightlife. It allows you, for instance, to create clubs for your Sims to chill out in after school or work.
You even get to specify rules, so only select Sims can join, and when they are in the club they need to behave. There are also other group activities, including bonfire parties. Thanks to Get Together your Sims can also learn how to drop the bass at a club as a DJ, or have a spectacular dance battle against other Sims.
If you’re looking to expand your Sims’ social lives, Get Together is the expansion to help you do it. City LivingNew world/neighborhood: San MyshunoThis expansion takes the Sims out of their usual suburban houses and lets them move to the apartment blocks and penthouses of the city. This means the Sims get to have much closer interactions with their neighbors, for good or bad.
Or they can avoid having people on the other side of the wall if they can afford to rent a penthouse and make it their own.Living in the city also means new careers such as Politician or Critic, new places to visit, like the Karaoke Bar in the Fashion District, and a variety of cultural festivals. This expansion is perfect if you’ve grown bored of the suburban houses where your Sims lead their daily lives and want to give them a taste of the city. Cats & DogsNew world/neighborhood: Brindleton BayThe Sims 4 expansion called Cats & Dogs allows your Sims to become veterinarians and set up their own prosperous clinic, helping all kinds of animals to get back to full health. The new neighborhood, Brindleton Bay, is a coastal locale letting you play fetch on the beach, or take a scenic route to a local lighthouse. In addition to the above, you can make a pet in the Create-a-Pet feature, picking not only the appearance but also traits unavailable to human Sims.
Train and play with your pets to increase their bond with you, and make cute photos to post on their Simstagram accounts. Cats & Dogs also lets you adopt strays you find out in the world, and create fox and raccoon pets, in addition to usual felines and canines. SeasonsNew world/neighborhood: noneThe Seasons expansion brings diverse weather and seasons to The Sims 4, which include seasonal events and holidays and new interactions between the Sims.
Now your Sims can go ice skating when the world freezes over, or invite friends for a pool party to combat a heat wave. There are also four pre-made holidays for each of the seasons, and a convenient way to design your own using the Calendar. The Seasons expansion also adds two new careers. One of them is Gardening, which comes with a floral arranging skill, and the other is a Scout—an afterschool activity for younger Sims. Pick Seasons for diverse events and holidays happening over the course of a Sim’s life, and if you want to design your own special occasions for the world to follow.
Get FamousNew world/neighborhood: Del Sol ValleyGet Famous wants to make your Sims the stars and celebrities of their world. If you play their cards right, they will even get a commemorative diamond on the Starlight Boulevard and will be the talk of their neighborhood. Get Famous includes new careers in acting and media production, and boosts them with fame systems, allowing your Sim to become famous for being good at their job.If you have luck and work for it, you’ll get to move to The Pinnacles neighborhood, where the true stars live. The more famous you get, the more perks and fans you get out of this. Whether your Sim will enjoy it or not is up to you.
Pick your Best Sims 4 Expansion PacksThe above are all of expansion packs available at the time of writing this article. They cover many aspects of life in the suburbs and in the city, but surely there are more Sims 4 packs to come that will make the game even better and more detailed. These are but the largest packs of content released for The Sims 4, but if you still want more items and options for your Sims, there are plenty of Sims 4 Stuff Packs and Game Packs which will have you covered. One thing is certain, getting all of them makes the game the perfect life simulator.
